i just bought a set of CS 69 pick ups and got them all mixed up, there are no markings on any part of the pickup no number nothing. they are all the same Resistance so dose it matter which pick up goes where? or am i completely screwed to put them on properly?

Sometimes you can determine the position in a Strat by noting the length of each pickup's lead-in wires (the longest obviously belongs in the neck position). But AFAIK, the CS 69's are all the same pickup. I have a set in my 12-string Strat and I don't recall any specific markings on the bobbins.

If they all ohm out the same then it's a safe bet that they are the same.

Many of the other CS pickup sets are ordered -- especially those with a RW/RP middle pickup. But I believe the '69s are one such exception.

CS 69s are not position specific. In other words, all three in your set are virtually identical and where you place them is arbitrary.
