Hey Everyone-I am new to the forum, but I am a Fender fan from way back. Anyway, I have two questions-Are there any physical differences in Fender "Vintage Springs" and "Standard Springs"? I have a 73 Strat along with 3 new ones and I need to replace the springs. I have a mixed supply of both types and want to make sure I am using the era-appropriate ones. Also, I have a 90's Japanese Strat with a Floyd Rose type locking bridge-The bridge says Fender but I am pretty sure they were made by Rose or Schaller. It is missing a whammy bar and I can't locate a authentic replacement-thanks in advance for any help you can offer

Regarding the whammy bar.
I have read that Fender has three types of whammy bars.
This will help to get a searching start. Toppscore.

Regarding the Tremolo springs,
I have not heard of "spring tension" differences between each spring
as most of the time we add or subtract springs, not replace them
with stronger or weaker springs.
I could be wrong, but personally, I'd look at it as the springs are
of equal tension, first. Toppscore :)
