Hello, as mentioned this is not pertaining to a Fender guitar(hope this is the right section). I have just aquired a BC Rich KK V Signature Special. I am not normally a BC Rich fan, but I got a sweet deal on a nice toned V, with cool looks(Kerry King designed Tribal tattoo graphics). I love the potential that the wood has tonally, and the neck is a sweet 24 frett 25.5" that fits my hand perfectly.

The pickups MUST GO! lol I got the guitar sounding fairly well, with a nice settup and a few of my import-guitar fixit tricks. Next I have some metal HB rings coming, and will be buying some Dragonfire Screemers http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dragonfire-Red- ... 20c2fd3851

I could use some help with a wiring idea from those who have more experience than I do.

Here is my idea:

1 meg push/pull vol to coil cut
1 meg blend/balance
Varitone switch in place of a capacitor on a TBX tone pot with a direct circuit, .015, .022, .033, .047 and .069k caps.

It's a bit complicated, but should work nicely. Unfortunately, I cannot find a similar diagram, and I am not quite confident enough in my wiring skills to design it myself.

Can someone help me figure this out?

I guess I was being a bit too ambitious. I ended up going With some Dragonfire Screamers hums, and a standard 2vol and a pushpull tone. However I did use 1meg pots(for the first time), ended up having to run two .022 tone caps, as I usually only run one and had no .047s. WOW, amazing is all I can say! Between the HOT hums and one meg pots, this V sounds incredible. Coil tapped it has a fairly believable Tele sound, but on hums it is anything from a tonefull blues guitar to a metal machine. Works extremely well with the settings I have been already using on my Mustang I amp.

I ended up buying a set of DF (EMG copy)SAs this weekend, with some onboard effects. Got the set for $60 used on eBay. Now I can finally finish my strat project.
