Pretty ticked about this. Gonna have to chip away at my body to get this to fit. You would think Fender would test install these on a guitar. The clip needed to be horizontal not vertical. Cmon Fender.

Agreed, flaw wise. However, you could always solder wires directly to their respective terminals on the pickup in lieu of using the clip. This way you won't have to chip anything away.

Heating up that circuit board. Not sure about that man. Also cant bend the lugs up because there's no clearance under the pickup for that. Fender owes me a solution. I guarantee, they will have alot up pissed off people because of this. All they had to do was put the clip horizontal like EMG, Kinman, etc. Very disappointing.

Agree that it is a stupid design, but if you can't solder that without destroying something you shouldn't be holding a soldering iron. It should only take about a second or 2 of heat with a 25 watt iron. Your not trying to solder a ground wire to the back of a pot.

It just happened to me. After using the pickups for a month in my Thinline Tele the neck pickup went dead. I took it apart. This is what I found. I'm very disappointed.

Well, you can see what needs to be done to get it up and running again. I would suggest directly soldering each of the wires to their respective terminals on the base of the pickup though.
