I know this is a 1970's era, but other than that I'm clueless. Would like to know the value and year made.

I see the current Fender fuzz wah reissues different in appearance as they have the foot switches mounted to the side of the housing (a better design imo). Thanks for any info!

I know this is an old thread but Wow, I've been looking these up and stumbled across this thread. I have this same pedal. Even has the 127170 stamped on it and part number 011741 on one side. My serial # on the sticker is different, maybe older, yours starts with 75 and mine starts and ends with 74.

You ever find the answer to your question? I'm interested to know myself. My pots (difficult to see from the angle) look like they have "127160 EXTRA LIFE" stamped on them.

Only thing I've seen on them was an old thread from 2003 on another forum that said the pots are a very special item that were made for that specific product. Have no idea if there's any truth to that though.

Peace.

No I haven't really been able to get an accurate value. Most Ive seen put up for sale have been not fully operational, or missing something or another. I did see on ebay (Australia of all places) one sell for $265+, of course vintage Fender items could be even rarer down under than the U.S.

Mine has been waiting for me to clean out some dust bunnies and get some potentiometer cleaner, just haven't gotten around to it yet ;)

As far as accurate value I don't know but I believe this exact model are quite rare even by rare vintage pedal standards.

I've never seen another in person but found one of these models (1972) that actually sold this year for EUR 299.99 which is over $400 U.S so it may be worth more than a couple hundred bucks to some folks.

If we could read German we may be able to learn a little more about it. It sold on Ebay Germany I believe.

You might have better luck approximating the build date if you can pull the date codes off of those electrolytic caps and decipher them. The pot code cited doesn't seem to be of much use in that regard.

Interestingly enough there seems to be a black krinkle painted version as well. I imagine this could be a more recent version, maybe at the end of the 1970's? Doubt they offered two finish choices at the same time.
