Would they fit on my Squier Telecaster Custom as the new volume and tone knobs because I have the skirted ones like on the 72 Deluxe. I'd have to buy 2 sets because it has 2 volume and 2 tone knobs.

Look first at the knobs to make sure there are no set screw holes drilled in the sides. I haven't seen a Fender yet that used them, but check to be sure. Slip two teaspoons under opposite edges of the knob "skirt" and gently pry it up. I got this idea from a brilliant poster (Gravity Jim) on this forum and just tried it on my daughter's Squier Strat and it worked like a charm, didn't scratch or damage the pickguard or the finish! You should see a slotted, fluted shaft on each potentiometer (pot). The Tele knobs should fit fine, since they use the same style pots. If you have someone you can borrow a Tele knob from, you can test fit it before you buy. Good luck!
