I have a set in my '86 Japan Strat, And I absolutely love them.

I will be the first to admit they take a bit of getting used to. The main reasons being you have to adjust levels on Effects and amp etc to accomodate for the fact they are active pickups and preamped. But once you have done that and gotten used to using the SPC and EXG controls you will love them as much as I do I am sure.

I think they're great. But as a previous poster mentioned, you'll have to get used to the active controls. Once you do, though, it's a really versatile rig.
