I have a bad hum in my strat. I checked the grounds, rewired in input jack and replaced the volume pot. Any other suggestions?

Are you using quality instrument cables?

Welcome.

Troubleshoot in this order:

Verify that you didn't accidentally wire up the input jack backwards.

Verify that when you plug in your cable that it is not touching the shielding paint underneath the jack cup.

Verify that all your components are appropriately and securely grounded.

Verify that no blob of solder has dripped from a positive connection to where it is coming in contact with a negative part of a component, foil shield or shielding paint.

Verify the integrity of your pickup selector switch, the hot wire between it and your volume control and that the switch's lower most terminals are not touching the shielding paint underneath it.

Verify the integrity of all three of your pots.

There are more things that could be checked but odds are, it is one of the above.
