Is the Fender Musical Instruments - 2 Button Footswitch for Mustang 4/5 compatible with the Mustang 1 as well? I know this may be a stupid question because it clearly says 4/5 but in the description it says 3 as well and it IS a fender footswitch so why wouldn't it work with all Fender amps? :?:

The amp foot switch does things with grounding circuits. The III has a 2 button (programmable) so it's going to be different electrically.

The IV and V use a 4 button.

The multiple switch types do more functions, for drive and effects ect.,.

The amp has to be wired to work with a certain foot switch.

A plain old 1 button is only about 20 bucks. All they do is either ground or not ground the cable jack tip.

Way do you inquire about the others ??
