I bought two sets of brand new sets of Texas specials for two of my strats. I wired them up (I've done this many times before) and on both guitars both neck pickups weren't working! I stripped the electrics down replaced pots and switches went over the wiring diagrams again and again praying for the obvious to hit me between the eyes but it never did, Eventually I removed the PU's and got a meter on them ... dead! nothing happening - the middle and bridge PU's on both guitar's are fantastic - but both neck PU's are useless - if it were one PU I'd question my own handling (although I am excessively careful) but both - that's nuts. Is anyone aware of any issues relating to TSP's? Batch problems? Anything? Help please

thanks

I've got a drawer of dead pickups, and one is a Texas Special. It happens. Look for loose wires, especially around eyelets. Those can often be fixed with a drop of solder.
