I currently have a Fender hot noiseless single coil pickup in the neck position of my Am. Deluxe fat strat. I'm wondering how the output of this pickup compares to, for example, a dimarzio chopper or some other rail-style single coil pickup? Can anybody help me with this? The product information on Fender's page isn't very informative.

Using a DVM, measure the resistance of the coil(s) with the pickup isolated electrically from the rest of the guitar's circuit then compare your observations with the specs available on the DiMarzio website. S-D also publishes their specs IIRC.

Unfortunately, I have no clue what a DVM is (I'm not a native english speaker), and I have absolute no skills in handling a guitar in any way other than playing it  I was hoping that someone could tell me by experience :)

It is approximately the same output as say, a Texas Special neck pickup. The Chopper is extremely more powerful whereas most rail style single coil sized HB pickups are at least, noticeably more powerful.
