Post subject: Badass II Bridge

Say i was to get a badass II bridge and put it on my bass do i ahve to get the saddles grooved? And could i just take that to someone at a guitar shop? Thanks

The bridge saddles should be notched by a competent tech, not just "someone" at a guitar shop. Note that with a new bridge, the bass should also be set up by a competent tech as well.

I've been told with flatwounds you don't really nd to groove them. So I didn't do it on my BadAss II. It's alright. You can buy them already grooved too. I'm leaving it as is for now. On the BadAss III I bought them pre grooved.

^ Exactly, the Badass II now comes with the pre-grooved option just like the BAIII. ('bout freakin' time, too.) I believe we can thank our friends at FMIC for that in a round about way. Once they started equipping basses with BAII's stock, it was only a matter of time. Save yourself the trouble and headache and just get 'em pre-grooved.
