Split coil ?

My guess at a gander is that there's two coils, 1 coil per 3 strings. Sorta like Fralin's Split Blade, or Z-Coil pickups. I've heard they work pretty well for maintaining a Strat-esque sound, but again, nothing comes like it than a real single coil. Definitely something to compare when something like the VVA's are on the table, yeah ?

Edit: I forgot to mention, RW/RP in each individual pickup. Hint is that's it's "slightly hotter" than a regular single coil. Hotter usually corresponds to midrange, and midrange strikes a humbucker idea in my head.
