Has anyone lacquered tweed material? I was wondering if I applied a coat of lacquer on a tweed case, would it result in a finish that looked like a lacquered tweed amp?

Yes and yes.

There was someone here a while back who had excellent results lacquering a tweed re-issue case. The search function may help you locate the post.

Use a lightly tinted formula and apply several light coats for best results. Allow each coat to fully cure before subsequent applications (the tint effect will darken as the lacquer dries).

Best of luck, HTH

Arjay
