I'm a lefty looking to update my Strat with a set of Texas Specials. I haven't been able to find them on the Fender site. Does anybody know if these come in lefty.

I'm basically an old acoustic bluegrass player who has managed to get stuck on playing the Blues.

I don't know didley about the electronics, but have been advised that Fender has a righty stagger on its pickup magnets. If you are up on this stuff I'd really appreciate your input.

Hello and welcome to the forum fellow lefty.

I don't have an answer for you on what pickups have the lefty stagger, however I would advise contacting Fender at consumerrelations@fender.com or contact your local Authorized Fender Dealer.

Thanks, Chet. I checked with Fender. Apparently they quit making lefty Texas Specials in the mid-90s

You might get lucky and find a set on eBay.

I received a suggestion - to simply turn the righty pickups around - but that won't work.

I could put rightys in and have a Hendrix Woodstock version of an SRV.

I'm looking at Lindy Fralin Blues Special pickups which can be specal orderd with a lefty stagger.

Any practical advice out there.
