I have purchased several books and have spent many hours on the net trying to figure
out how to wire my HSH strat in a way that I can be happy with. Every time I thought I had all of the things I would need, I would find I needed another part and would have to order it and wait some more. Now that I have everything, I am going nuts, not sure of myself and my abilities. Instead of taking off the strings and pickguard on the guitar I want to do this to, I decided to do a test run of sorts. The setup in the picture was just to prove that I could do a blender setup for my neck and bridge humbucker pups. I would like to have the following in my setup:
1.) Neck and bridge pups using 500K blender switch in place of lower tone switch
2.) 5 position switch to be set up where 5 is bridge only/ 4 is Middle tex mex and neck split humbucker on a push pull middle tone switch/ 3 is neck 4 wire humbucker / 2 is neck humbucker split ? and 1 pos will be mix of neck and bridge, that the blender and push pull will have an effect on sound too.

The Fender S1 system would have been nice. I am confused about where to start with this. When I take the actual guitar apart, I dont want to sit there and let the neck get warped from no tension, because I cant get it back together in a timely fashion. I bought a Seymore Duncan Liberator 500K as my Volume, a Dimazio 500K push/pull and a blender pot, 500K for my neck and Bridge.

The model 59 SD pup for my bridge has only one hot wire with a braided ground. I was told I may want to put shrink wrap around the braid, except where it needs to ground.
My original Tex Mex in the middle makes it where I have to change the green and black as SD papers that came with pups says I need to do that....I did not as the guitar sits now, and the neck is very quiet sound wise compared to the other pups. The Neck Hot rail is the only pup that has 4 wires and can be split. Would I want to do one of the rails from this with the middle pup to cancel humm and get a different sound??? So many options......... DO I start with the pup hot wire and go to switch and then out to VOL and then to Tone and/or blender, and then to out jack or is there a certain order that you have to go with...... sorry Im going on and on....This is just very daunting for me.

The Mega Switch E model is supposed to allow me to do some combo's I would like. I just need some help with does wire go here and there and how to start. Thanks
