Hello everyone,

I'm tired of the tinny sounding bridge pickup in my Strat (I never use it). I'm looking for a warmer, humbucker sounding one but unsure of what to choose. Rails, stacked, or simply a warmer single coil? I need it to drop in (no routing) and it will be with N3's. I read the "Stacked Humbucking" thread, just looking for more thoughts. Thank you.

If I were you and I DID NOT(I quite like a bright bridge pickup, great for use with heavy overdrive pedals) like the bright bridge pickup, I would first try wiring the guitar so that the lower tone knob would control the bridge pick up as well.

The red line is the small piece of wire you need. Easy as pie, installing and removing!

Recommendations:

Warm single coil= Dimarzio Virtual vintage '54 Pro

Single coil sized humbucker= Seymore Duncan Hot Rails

Happy Playing!
