I just bought a set of Tex Mex PUps. They are marked with what appears to be serial numbers in white marker on the backs (SO658, SO659 on middle & bridge I think). The neck pickup looks like the writer smeared a hand across it when still wet, and none of the characters are legible. Will I ever need the number for anything? Warranty, verify authenticity, etc.?

Thanks

Welcome!

It is extremely unlikely; forget it.
