I Have The Scn's On My Avhr Ri And Really Like Them. I Just Adjust The Tone Knobs Down. Try Both And Play With Them.

I have two SCN guitars which I love and I've played some Deluxe Players Strats in stores with the VN's which also sounded pretty good.

Another noiseless option might be the DiMarzio "Area" series pickups. I have two Strats configured with these as well and they're a skosh hotter with a rawer tone than either of the Fenders -- more akin to a true single-coil IMO.

+1 On the DiMarzio's...

I have a fully-loaded DiMarzio Area pg in mine. Very quiet as well as great sounding.
As our own Martian has described them "bells and balls".

I have a set of Hot Noiseless and reckon they would be a better option over the Vintage Noiseless for the sort of music you play.

Just check the depth of the cavity on your Strat before you buy... Check this thread out to find out why.

I have the vintage noiseless and I love 'em.

But that's really a matter of taste.

Cheers

With apologies to FMIC, neither the VNs nor the SCNs are in the same league as the Virtual Vintage Areas (VVAs). The VVAs are simply leaps and bounds better all around and that includes construction. You don't even have to change the OEM pots in your guitar to accommodate them. Further, the VVAs have several models to choose from where you can zero in on the strength and tonality you want from each pickup and you have several cover color choices as well. The price is also quite right.

Love my SCNs. Just pay attention to pickup distance from strings.

When I had the SCNs I was pleasantly surprised by the sonic difference I had when I put them as close to the strings as possible.

The Vintage Noiseless are a more traditional pick-up, more glassy bright tone. I've been using the SCNs for a year and found they are great but nothing like the classic single coils. I'm one word they're powerful and will drive an valve amps gain a little harder when you attack harsher, a character I love about them.

Still its a matter of taste, either way the mod is worth doing. Worse case scenario is you don't like them and you can sell them on easily and its reversible.

Of note: The VNs have Alnico V magnets whereas the SCNs have Ceramic ones. Hence, the difference between the two in terms of tonality.
