Yea, the old cast iron casket box, I'd go for that.

OK, so I ended up picking up a Red Witch Fuzz God 2. I have a friend that hooked me up with a deal I couldn't pass. I was hesitant at first about getting it because of the "Wrath" side not being usable. When I got it I just kinda eased into the Fuzz side and I was surprised how well its sounds. Its silicon based so its bright but not as bright as you'd think. It leans toward a muff type sound, but can definitely nail face tones as well. It can be switched from 50% to 100% gain to get all sorts of different fuzz sounds. oh and it has a switch for hotter pick-ups/single coils. Super awesome fuzz pedal by itself. There's more... It also has the ability to dial back the bias to give it the dying battery effect. Which by the way is what keeps the Wrath side under control. The Wrath is an oscillation control that is pitch oriented that gives you wild and crazy over tones and atari effects. This pedal handles Cream to White Stripes with a quick turn of one knob. It does have a heavy tag on it for around 250 roses but if you can get a deal on it I recommend giving it a shot for sure.

still wouldn't mind giving the Hoof a go either.....

I've got a Leeds fuzz and the WHSP, and they are really 2 different fuzzy animals. I can get tones from one I cannot get from the other, but the versatility of the WHSP is pretty damn nice, with the internal adjustments as well as the outer, you can really sculpt your tone.
I went with the Pickle.

Ahh I see you got something else, nm...

I'm all over the Devi Ever stuff. I would very much one day like to own some Red Witch gear. That Fuzz God 2 looks mighty fine, I would really like to try the Deluxe Moon Phaser...

After exchanging a few posts with zzdoc regarding distortion pedals it occurred to me that I had a few of them, but I had no true fuzz pedals. My favorite was the Univox Super-Fuzz. I had one -- the classic red-orange casing with royal blue treadle -- in the early 70s and literally gave it away. GAVE IT AWAY!! FREE!!

As I am still scarred by this dark event in my guitar playing past, my G.A.S. is fueled. I picked up a Guyatone TZ2 “The Fuzz” with an octave up, ring modulator-like circuit based on the Univox, but doesn’t sound anything like it. Then a Devi Ever “Torn’s Peaker”, the old model with the toggle switch. Nice pedal, supposedly Billy Gibbons uses one. Then I moved on to a Devi Ever “Vintage Fuzz Master”, another octave up pedal that can get wild quickly. After waiting six looonnng weeks, my Analog.Man “Dark Peppermint Fuzz” arrived. It really does give you that ‘Incense and Peppermints’ sound and I really, really love it. Still . . .

. . . I crave the sound of that wild and crazy Univox Super Fuzz. I don’t want to take a chance buying a vintage pedal as some of the better examples are nearing $1,000 and they are around 40 years old now and becoming unreliable. Also, my 70 mile R/T commute has my ExxonMobil monthly bill approaching $300 so my disposable income (read: gear money) isn’t what it once was. I’m going to buy one (or two) more, but it’s got to be a Super Fuzz clone. I’ve narrowed it down to three: the Wattson Classic Fuzz (FY-6 not the FY-2), the Black Cat Superfuzz (great t-shirt, too) and the 73 Effects Superfuzz (best looking pedal with excellent reviews). I’ve researched them for months and I’m afraid to take the plunge and get it wrong. If anyone has first-hand experience with any of these three pedals please post a quick review. You will have my undying gratitude!

I would also vote for the Earthquaker Tone Reaper. Just picked one up and like the versatility it provides between single coil and humbuckers.

Nasty little pedal will easily squeeze into your pedal board and can be had for <$150.

Since this thread has been resurrected, let me offer the following:

Dick Denney's work is alive and well . . . and pricey!

You ain't lyin' there, Steve!

I think I paid $39.95 for my original black wrinkle-finished Tone Bender back in '68.
