Im looking for new bass and guitar strings, but i dont know what type to get. my style is a mixture between punk and old school metal.

i use d'addario longscale strings on my ebm-5 and i dig them but i havnt experimented too much. before i had some blue steels on it but the b was really dead right out of the pack.

For Bass I like Flat wounds. D'Addario Chromes are my choice. Of course the tone is mellow. From your choice of music you may want round wounds. The best round wounds (& I used round alot when I was younger) I have ever used are Rotosound Jazz.
