I'm getting ready to soup up my 2005 Hghwy 1. I would like to put in Schaller locking tuners and upgrade the saddles. Will the tuners just drop in and what kind of saddles will fit perfect? Also it seems that my axe is a hybrid of sorts. It's a pre upgraded model but has the Greasebucket tone circuit. Will Lace Hot Golds drop in well or will the guts need to be replaced. I actually like the GB circuit and have come to utilize it alot to develop my own sound. Any help would amazing. Thanks

Welcome!

If you mean the Fender Schallers, meaning, the type with the twin pins on each head where it mates with the headstock, yes.

The bridge appears to be the American spread so you'd want the 3/16th saddles.

No guts will need to be replaced if you go with the Hot Golds.

I used the Fender/Schaller locking tuners in my Highway 1. They were a direct fit. I used Schaller's in my American Special and they too were a direct fit, but a bit snug putting then in. Both work great, the true Schallers IMO work a little better.
