I use to always check the Ohms but under Pickup Specs it only shows
MRSP, etc.. ..... Anyone know why there hiding the 'real' specs now ... and I love the Vintage Noiseless set just received but I need to crank-up the bridge pup up so high as its very weak sounding compared to the other two. Is this normal ?

hopefully someone more savvy than myself will come along shortly, not sure about the hiding of the specs, and i've not played those particular pups, but have you tried adjusting pickup height to compensate? either moving the bridge up, or the neck and middle down? just make sure you don't go so high the magnet pull becomes a problem. i used to be afraid i'd compromise "fatness" in tone by adjusting my pups downward, but my neck and bridge are currently all but flush against the pickguard, with my middle pup just slightly higher and i love my tone :D .

Hi .. Yeah, I have them setup so it sounds LEVEL when swtiching through
all pickups but it looks a little silly .. Neck/Middle pickups are so far down
and the Bridge is up so high ... works ..just looks funny ... another funny thing is i cant login to fender.com through Firefox ..I have to use IE ... but Firefox works fine with fuse.fender.com .. anyways ..thanks for the reply ..i finally found the specs on google ..there all 9.6 and the yellow/black bridge one if anyone doesn't understand why its colored that way is the pole pieces are spaced further away than the neck/middle pups
from what i read since its slanted ..but it would of been awesome if they'd made the bridge pup 10.0 or something .. then I'd buy another set rite away (o:

i wouldn't compromise tone/sound quality/personal happiness/playability for aesthetics.
plus, if you're at a distance, or they're looking straight on at it, people won't likely notice anyway

i use mozilla firefox at home, and i don't think i have any problems. might wanna try adjusting your settings or something.

anyway, hope it all works out!

True ... and all the specs for pickups are back up.. woohoo (O:
Correction .. vintage set is 9.8K Not 9.6 ... and I still can't login
with firefox version 3.6.12
-
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 Firefox/3.6.12 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
-

MSIE works fine.

Edited: Workaround for Firefox is to click [Tools]->[Page Info]->[Permissions]->[Set Cookies] and tick (Block) ... Allows me to login to fender.com ... probably just my problem ... Vista updates every day on this computer and probably screwed something up I'll bet.
