Post subject: How do I pull knobs off a pickguard?

Hello all, How do I pull the Volume and Tone knobs off a pickguard? I want to swap loaded pickguatds but keep the old knobs.

Some have allen screws in them, you have to losen those first. If you don't have those, use 2 tea spoons, put the spoons tips under the knobs, push up.

Wrap the middle of a shoe string under the know. Then pull up on each end of the shoe string back and forth until the knob pulls off.

Using spoons can damage the guitar.

There no no screw on Stratocaster knob. Scew are on Telecaster knob. You can also use small piece fo cloth under the knob and pull.
