Can you use the mid boost with the Kinmans avn69
since they are noiseless I remember Martian saying
you have to use noiseless pickups

and if so do you use the pots from that kit ?
do you see any other potential problems ?
or changing of the circuits needed
your suggestions or thoughts are welcomed
thank you all

Yes, you can use it with Kinmans. I said some sort of humbuckers (aka, "Noiseless") because the mid boost will also jack up the 60 cycle hum of a single coil as you dial up the boost.

You would have to use the 50K pot from the kit as this replaces your OEM 250 K volume pot.

If you don't like the TBX pot, you can continue to use your OEM 250K tone pot.

The 'gain' pot is in fact, a 250K pot so you could just as well leave the OEM one in if you so choose.

You will have to use the three contact female input jack which comes with the kit. This MAY require some minor routing for clearance underneath the jack cup.

BEFORE you start dismantling the guts of your guitar, first figure out where you want to fit the printed circuit (PC) board and the battery as there will probably be routing of the body involved.

Make ABSOLUTELY sure that no metal parts such as the battery housing or the pickguard foil shall come into contact with any of the solder contacts on the PC board or you shall fry the board.

Above all, take your time and if you're not in the mood to do it or feel 'sheepish' about any aspect of the installation, let a VERIFIED pro do it.

Not sure if I qualify as a Wiring Guru but I second everything Martian posted above. All good stuff there.

Good luck!
