Hi there Fenderfans,
Can somebody help me to identify and date this Fender Esquire pick-up.
The serialnumber is not very clear on the photo, but it's: f 5305
Don't look at the modern grey wire that was added somewere in time, or the grondwire that is missing.
Strange is that the wire(s) are on one side and not parting from the middle of the pick-up like they use to on Telecasters.
Maybe somebody can help me out, thank you very much.Image

That is an imported, 'economy' pickup. It is surely not a Fender Esquire pickup by any means.
