Hey everyone, I heard that fender doesn't do the twisted tele neck pickup outside the custom shop, so I was wondering if anyone knew any tele neck pickups that have a similar tone?

You can find them up on ebay. There are 3 on there now... kind of pricey they are.

They say they are "Strat Like"

Bill Lawrence Keystones are as well.......................somewhat.

Try the Dimarzio Twang King. It's one of the clearest, brightest tele neck pickups out there, and I've A/B'd it against the Twisted Tele. They sound very similar to my ears.

What Miami Mike said...the Twang King is very straty and very reasonably priced too.
