Easy question, but i must ask before buying it for my project.

Will the fender genuine aged covers fit the custom shop 69 pups nice and easy ?

Ill do it with aged knobs and tip too and a mint green pickguard, how nice is that huh ? I expect my hwy1 finish do age fast on the nitro finish, to im thinking of its beauty on the future.

Thanks.

Yes they will.

I installed the aged cover set on the '69's I put in my MIJ Strat 12-string. No problems fitting the covers to the pickups.

another thing you could is remove covers, switch tip, and pickup covers.
no joke, make a pot of dark coffee, pour a cup and drop them in, leave em for about an hour, take em out and rinse them, see if you want them like that or make them darker.
i did this to a set of white as snow covers i had, viola before i knew it i had aged covers. try it..
youll save 20 bucks.

The coffee should be no warmer than 170F degrees. Any hotter and unwanted warpage may occur, especially to pickup covers.

I was certain that's what you meant, BST.

But I wanted to clarify the issue for any first-timers attempting a "relic" job.

Rock on!
