What would the best location be for the 59 bassman pedal on a pedalboard? Before other effects such as chorus, distortion, phaser, reverb, etc. or right at the front after the tuner?

This pedal is basically an amp in itself. so I would say place all effects before it or in other words put the bassman last in the chain.

I have it the beginning and it sounds okay there, but I will now try it last and see how it sounds here. What you say makes sense though.
