I must be an idiot...

Can someone PLEASE tell me how to attach the Fender Strap Lock & Buttons kit?

Too many black & white washers...where do they go?

I'm a newbie and a lost newbie at that.

Much thanks.

Welcome.

Fender Strap Locks are made by a German company named, Schaller. Try these directions:

There are obviously others videos there too demonstrating how.

I don't think that you actually use the black AND white felt washers, you use either the black OR white ones depending on your guitar color and/or your color preferences. Unless I am totally confused at what the problem you're having is...

I just installed a set this past weekend. So easy, a cave man could do it! Took all of 5 minutes. Mine didn't come with any felt washers. I just used what was already on the guitar.
