After checking out The Guitar Fetish website I am curious about their quality. I'm looking @ mini-humbucking pickups. When I see a Gibson or Bill Lawerence mini humbucker, I know that the quality is there. I am putting a mini humbucker in the neck position of my Tele. Does anyone have hands on experience with Guitar Fetish pickups? I have a hard time believing that I can buy a mini humbucking pickup that looks exactly like a Gibson for $32.95. Thank You.

For the most part you get what you pay for. Sometimes you will feel like you did better, and sometimes you will wish you hadn't bothered. Most of the stuff I have bought from them I have already unloaded.

YMMV.

As my father used to say, "You buy cheap, you get cheap".

Their single-coils tend to be better than their other pickups. A lot of people really like the FatBody Tele pickups (I think that's what they're called) - they really open up the Tele neck position. Their Strat singles are also good, particularly the vintage-y ones (the alnico II and Vs that don't feature "overwound", "hot", etc). I've heard a number of people say that the alnico IIs are about on par with Fender's aftermarket offerings.

That said, I have Chevaliers (nee Copperhead) in my Strat, and I love them.
