OK, no interest on this topic in the Tele room .... let's try this again.

I hear these RI Tele's have potted humbuckers but I can't confirm it. To be honest, it sounds like they are not. I get nasty feedback on several amps with this guitar but not a sound with my 3 other humbucker guitars.

Has anyone noticed the same problems? or tried wax potting these Fender Humbuckers?

Try adjusting your pickup to string distance. It mad it a bit better on my Custom RI, but not much.

Oftentimes, OEM pickups get a "quick dip" rather than a total saturation. I redipped these type HBs from a Tele I had in my possession a while back. I made absolutely sure they were saturated; the problem totally disappeared.
