I have this small head strat neck that was holed for F tuners and I wanna replace them with Klusons though the hole would be exposed nasty even if I fill it. So if I can find decent NICKEL F tuners, that would be fine. Thanks!

AFAIK the Fender/Schaller F tuners were only made in chrome. As well, they might look goofy and out of place on a small-headstock Strat. You might try a set of oversized bushings on a set of Klusons or vintage-style Gotohs to conceal the enlarged holes.

Thanks, yea I thought they made it only in chrome.

Man do you really mean that the bushings are larger with F Tuners??? They look the same to me... Man that's gonna be a big problem if ever.

I may have misunderstood.

Do you mean the holes on the reverse side of the headstock for the mounting screws?

If so then yes, those would be exposed if you installed Kluson or vintage clones. A skilled luthier could probably fill them but visible traces would likely remain.
