Hello can anyone who has the blue-silver-red lace seonsor pick up combo tell me the sound result putting them on its Stratocaster, please?

some years ago i had put a red one on the brigde so i've known it;

now i got myself a full set and i'd like to have your opinion and compare them with mine.

in few words this is my rewiew:

Red: with distortion turned on it is very high output and full of harmonics as i remembered from the past experience ;)

Silver: pure cleany and beautiful sounding especially splitted with the red- perfect for clean parts

Blue: quite loud and hot - similar the red on the bridge, just a little less aggressive, its sounds is round and a little dark, not so treble voiced as the silver one.

is it normal the response i have by the blue on the neck ? i know specs are :

Slightly increased output with the warmer 50's humbucking sound in a single coil configuration.

# Postion: neck, bridge
# Resistance: 12.8k
# Peak Frequency: 2100
# Inductance: 6.58 henries

thank you!

I had a hot response from a red single. Dual reds at the bridge are heaven. Silver was my least favorite so I don't remember, just basic strat. Blue very much like a humbucker, warm a bluesy. I had these on the Strat Plus Ultra.

Hello!

The Lace Sensors R-S-B are by far my favorite pups at the moment. I find they have a very contemporary tone which suits my playing style. I love the deep soulfull tone of a Blue Sensor in the neck and agree the Red does allow for some screaming harmonic pinch-ery! :D As a set they are very well balenced IMO

If you are finding the blue a little "dark" then forum user Ceri may have the answer for you. Check his post in the following thread:

Enjoy!

Andy

Thanx everyone, thanx Andy ;)
I just wrote there too!
That could be another option, but I want to keep them as they are.
Btw so the blue has that sound, it's not a problem ;)
I wanted to be sure and hear users opinions

cheers!
