It might, depending upon what pickups you have. The treble bleed mod doesn't seem to have a very dramatic effect on the Vintage Noiseless set.

You might also try "no-load" tone control pots.

This circuit is more for a full size and power humbucker and 500K pots. Yet, the following problem is still common: The volume control's sweep will be erratic, your treble will actually increase as you lower the volume and line noise will increase in some of these erratic areas of the pot sweep. Yes, I'm aware of the fact that many put it into single coil guitars with 250K pots. Regardless, in your particular situation, the above will surely manifest itself so you'll be trading in one problem for another.
