I had a height adjustment screw break (while playing) and I'm trying to find a fix. It looks like I might have to purchase a replacement set of string saddles, and here is where I need some help.

The guitar is a 2007 Fender Deluxe Players Strat (MIM) with the gold hardware. Replacement bridge saddles for vintage trems say they're for 2-3/16" string spacing, while replacement bridge saddles for import trems say they're for 2-1/16" string spacing. How and where is that spacing measured?

I have measured the saddles end to end (on the guitar) and their width (with almost no spacing between the saddles) is approximately 2-9/16".

Been told that Fender MIM guitars are made from parts manufactured in the U.S.A. and shipped to Mexico for assembly. So, does my Deluxe Players Strat have a vintage or import tremolo bridge on it? What's it considered?

Thanks!

The bridge saddle spacing on a Deluxe Players Strat is the American Vintage dimension (2-3/16").

I had different problem on the same model of strat.
saddle height adjustment screws were stripped for the 0.50 hex key, My option was to get six new gold saddles, could not locate saddles with fender trademark stamped,
went to guitar center and got the hex screws. Cheaper and quicker than new saddles.

The saddles used on the MIM vintage-spaced bridges (2-7/32") seem to be made from a softer grade of steel compared to those in the US-made vintage trem kits sold as a stand-alone accessory. As well the double-stamped "FENDER" lettering on a MIM saddle is of a different font size from the US part and is not as deeply embossed. I've replaced a number of these saddle sets on various MIM re-issues and Deluxe models with US equivalents and never had the stripped screw problem recur. MIA saddle sets are generally available from any Fender dealer or from various vendors on Ebay. Ask for Fender P/N 0992051000

What do you mean the screw broke? Is the hex insert stripped? If there's enough sticking out below the saddle you can just get a pair of needle nose pliers and unscrew it from the bottom.
