I love single coils but miss the humbucker sound too, I worked up a real good diagram with a super switch to give me parrallel and series sounds

5) bridge / middle in series
4) bridge / middle in parallel
3) middle
2) middle / neck in parallel
1) middle / neck in series

Got it working with a junk set of true singles but was just wondering what would happen if I wired my vintage or hot noiseless up in series ? Since they are not true single coils I'm not real sure what it'll do. I'm thinking it should work but figured if anyone knows any different it might save me some time.
Thanks
Tony

I love your choice of words.

They'll sound essentially the same yet a bit fuller and louder.

Hello!

I've wired a set of Hot Noiseless with the S-1 switch to get similar pickup switching and they sounded very good in series (IMO). Its not quite a humbucker sound but still a nice option to have. You should give the S-1 a go. Its handy to have the standard 5 way strat sounds we all know and love and at the push of a button 5 more! Bonus!

Enjoy

Andy
