Hi, do you know if Hot Rod 62 pickups that fender call "American vintage single coil" are the same thing that 57/62 ? If yes, why two name for the same thing ?

No, they are not. Rather, the closest point of reference they can be compared to is an under wound version of the American Standard pickup set.

Thank you. So, if i want a more "L series" sound, 57/62 are good choice for this guitar ?
