Your problem sounds like simple wiring error. I suggest you double check your wiring, you can download an example Fender wiring diagram for a gutiar that uses Noiseless pups here:

http://www.fender.com/support/diagrams/ ... 02BPg2.pdf

The pots are all 1 Meg. Some people leave out the treble bleed circuit (220k resistor in parallel with the 680pF cap) across the volume pot and some use 500k pots and/or cap values other than 0.022uF but these changes more affect the tone rather than leaving things broken.

Also don’t forget to set the heights of the pups to something reasonable, Fender recommends 1/8” on the bass side and 3/32” on the treble side but others suggest starting about 3/16" and adjusting them till they sound 'right'.

Check where you've wired the capacitor. A very common error people make when they wire up Strats is that they solder the capacitor between the two tone pots.

With the upper tone pot's shaft facing downward to the floor and the three terminals of this pot facing you, one leg of the capacitor should be soldered to the can of the upper tone pot and the other leg to that pot's right terminal along with an extension wire going from that right terminal to the middle terminal of the lower tone pot.
