Post subject: New Mustang pup's in a Squier Duo Sonic (vintage vibe)???

:D :!: :!: 8) So my Fender fam, should I throw a pair(of mustang pup's....(Seymour D's or other's) in my Squier Duo Sonic (Vintage vibe)??? I think the guit is prfect for what I use for, I am not exactly happy w/ the sound. It's not perfect, but not bad......soooooooo what does everyone think. I want sound opinion , value etc, I am not worried what it looks like as I can buy pup covers.

Well, although it is not good form to answer a question with a question, I have to ask you this: Do you like the sound of vintage Mustangs enough to dedicate well over $100 to duplicate their sound? Or, did you know that Strat pickups will fit in there too, thereby opening up MANY more tonal opportunities for you?

I didn't know that Strat Pup's would fit in the Duo Sonic....well that's a whole other species. I have a work bench full of possibilities now.!!!
