(I asked some of this in the Telecaster forum, but no reply...)

I'm considering a Highway One Texas Telecaster to augment my old Peavey Reactor. Primarily, I'm interested in the fact that it has a 12" radius neck, but also that it has, evidently, slightly hotter pickups than normal for a Telecaster. Unfortunately, I can never locate a Texas model to try. I'm in the Houston area, and even here most shops have never even seen one, much less have any on the rack.

The Fender information on the Highway One Texas model describes the thing as having "Hot Vintage" pickups. I don't see these pickups listed separately for sale in the Fender lineup. Am I just missing something? What, exactly, are Fender "Hot Vintage" pickups?

Thanks in advance for any help!
