It will not fit. Nothing will line up properly, the OEM rout will be too small, the guitar's body might be too thin for an AV Tremolo and then there's the wider string spacing of the AVT vs. the OEM which may send your outer E strings off the frets.

Frankly, with SO many Asian tremolos (and their varying specs) out there, you'd probably have a hard time finding one that will retrofit even the OEM one.

As to modding, I personally wouldn't waste my time. Clearly, YMMV.

well what about a American 62 RI Fender Strat TREMOLO Bridge? I really like the style of the vintage ones and i like the look of gold bridges. If none of these work, is there a certain bridge that you could recommend for me?

You've literally asked the same question again. The two bridges you describe are one and the same.

As to what other tremolo systems may work, there are MANY generic imported ones out there like yours but with MANY varying dimensions as well. I cannot say off the top of my head which would or wouldn't work as in my 40+ years in this business, it has been extremely rare for me to have to replace a generic OEM one with another generic one nor have I ever been tasked to replace one in a Starcaster ilk guitar with a high end one for that matter. You would have to take (or obtain) all the dimensions of your existing one and research among the many out there for a comparable one. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful in this area.

ok... i've been meaning to post this but i keep forgetting. I know Martian that u told me its almost impossible but i found one that fits. My friend has a strat that he upgraded his and put a Floyd Rose on(why i do not know). He gave me his old bridge and said if it fit right, it was mine. At this moment, i do not have a camera but i will post pics so you can see it, i just want someones opinion on one thing, the screws that put the bridge into the body, how much are you supposed to leave them unscrewed. I just wandered because I dont even use the tremelo and i was curious what the difference was.

I didn't say, "impossible". Rather, I was implying it was, "the luck of the draw".

Without the strings nor the springs installed, mount the bridge. Screw each screw into the body until each screw starts to lift the bridge plate and then back the screw out again until it just makes the bridge sit flush with the body again. The height of the bridge off the body will ultimately be determined by the balance of the pulling tension between the strings and the springs which is a separate procedure.
