I was surprised when I found my newly installed :( Fender Hot Noiseless pups were much lower in output in an A-B test with my 1987 Japanes 62 reissue and a strat with 1998 USA standard pups. A guitar tech I know claims this is normal for these pickups in spite of the measured 11k output quoted in the spec. Any comments?
