I'm looking at a set of Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups in their original Fender Mod Shop box. They look a little different..

Each pickup has 3 wires including yellow green colours.

The pole slugs are not so heavily rounded on the top - they are slightly shaped but overall look a lot flatter than the ones I'm seeing in your pic.

The non removeable pickup covers just have the discrete letters SCN stamped into the plastic under the left hand side of the high e slug. They're not marked with the lettering you have on yours.

I'm not saying yours are suspect - perhaps there is a difference in the pickups as removed from an actual guitar as opposed to those packaged for an after-market pickup set?

My SCN's have the "SCN" logo carved on them, and as stated before, 3 wires. These are probably "Vintage Noiseless"

They are not SCN's. If they are out of a deluxe its a pre 2004 one. They are vintage noiseless pickups. They have 2 wires black and white for the middle and neck, yellow and white for the bridge pickup. From the way they are stacked in the photo it looks like someone has wired them in and mistaken the yellow and black wired pickup for a reverse wound/reverse polarity pickup set. Moved it over to the middle position and moved the middle to the bridge. Not a great idea with that set. The bridge pickup is slightly different sounding to the others. This was done to combat the undesireable sound of that position with that pickup set. Which leads me to believe they were not out of a pre 2004 deluxe though thats speculation, it could just be a poorly thought out mod. The beveling on the pole pieces matches VN's.
