Hello... I bought a set of SCN pups for my strat a few days ago, but they didn't come with any screws or tubing. Is this normal? My old pickup screws (Texas Specials, Vintage Noiseless) don't fit the SCN pickups; they're too big.
Can someone help me out?
cheers

They are a 4-40 x 13/16". If you go to the parts breakdowns shown at this sight for a 2004 american delux there should be a fender part number for the mounting hardware. I had to order a set of the SCN mounting screws for a project.

Are you sure those numbers are correct? I'm having trouble finding any screws from fender that have those measurments. Most of them are 3/4" x 6-32. I just don't understand why Fender has to make a different size screw just to fit the SCN pickups.
I looked at the american deluxe strat like you said and the part for the screw is 0063396000, and the part for the tubing is 0063398000. But I'm not getting anywhere by searching online for those part numbers.
I'm getting a bit frustrated by all this.
It's also a bit harder in the UK because here the screws are measured by the metric system, so I can't exactly go my my local hardware shop and find them.
Can someone please tell me where to buy these screws from please? I would really like to get my strat SCN pickups wired up.
cheers

The screws were ordered by a Fender authorized service tech from Fender. I am lucky to have one close by that will order parts for me that are not readily available. Good luck with your search for those screws. I know how frustrating it is to have to hunt for parts.
