Hi All
I would like to source a Strat sized bridge coil split humbucker.
I understand this is a compact 2 coil humbucker that can be switched (toggled) to a single coil
Suggestions Brand/Make/Model/Shops ??
I would like to know if any manufacturers make a"ready to go" unit as I don't have acess to guitar techs

I was wondering when I read this why Martian hadn't jumped on it.

This is it, man, my chance to shine! No replies yet. Let's click on the post reply button, and no, what's this... a reply from MARTIAN! NO!!

I agree with his replies.

So you're not good with some schematics and a soldering iron? Welcome to the club!

The truth of the matter is, I actually prefer to sit back and let others have the say and for me to merely read it all as there are MANY learned individuals here. I don't want to be perceived as the type who has to jump in on every topic like I know all the answers nor to be perceived as the type who must refute others' answers with some ancillary information to make myself look superior, especially AFTER all the 'hard stuff' has been explained. FWIW, once a question is answered to an OP's satisfaction, I invariably stay out of it unless I'm outright asked for my perspective.

With this OP's question surely being legit, I answered it simply because I didn't think anyone else was going to; I knew I could help and I felt I should. So, reinforcing my first paragraph, I do apologize for 'grabbing the mic' from you.

No problem, Martian it's all in good humour.

I'm kidding about it, and I actually love to read your responses.

Well, what do you know, the OP posted this question somewhere else and got a boat load of answers!
