Hey guys, I have a AVRI 62 Strat w/ the stock 57/62s in it still. I have the opportunity to get a Big Dipper bridge. Does anyone have the specs (magnet and resistance) of this pickup? Will it work ok w/ the 57/62 middle and neck?

The closest point of reference you will be able to compare these Big Dipper pickups to is the CS69s.

Personally, I think the Big Dippers (just like the CS69s) sound awful in the bridge, clanky in the middle, but great in the neck. The 'balls' or 'grit' of any pickup is in its midrange. With the BD and the CS69, this would be noticeably absent in comparison to the 57/62s. This same absence would make for a nice, tight sounding neck pickup where oftentimes, a pickup can be a bit, 'farty' and the notes don't separate very well. YMMV

I agree with Martian. They do sound great in the neck position. 8)
