Ok one last question. Should i use the pots that come with the pups or buy a pair of 250s or 500's or one of each??? And if the Answer is one of each, then which pot goes where?? Thanks

Ideally, get a pair of CTS (or Fender) 250K Audio Taper Pots. You can get away with a 500K Audio Taper for the tone pot ONLY but you positively want a 250K Audio Taper for the volume. I know Fender switched around the values of the pots the VNs came with over the years. The point being, your set MAY have come with one or two 500K Audio pots so you can save yourself a few bucks by utilizing one for the tone. The only audible difference between that and the 250K in practical terms is that you'd have to roll back the 500K pot a little bit more to achieve the same amount of treble roll off versus having used a 250K. No big deal.

I know Fender insists on using higher resistance pot values for the VNs to extend the pickups', "hi-fidelity", so to speak, but all this much resistance does is make the pickups sound like they got the life sucked out of them.
