I recently purchased a beat up 70's Jazz Bass case from my local dealer. It said Fender and was the right price so I bought it. Unfortunatly it is missing feet and keys and needed minor repairs. Unfortunatly the feet aren't cheap. But finding a key for it is proving difficult. The new keys don't fit.

Does anyone have a set of these keys that they could part with? Or even just one. I know. I know. It is pointless to lock the case. But little hands find they're way into nice bass cases sometimes.

Most musical instrument stores will have at least one junk drawer, box, etc. with keys from cases accumulated over the years where they don't have a clue as to which any given key mates with what case. Bring your case around and try them first. Next, same scenario but a luggage shop.

Thank you, I forgot about the junk drawer. Too bad there is only one store near me. At which I bought the case. But I will try it none the less.

Hello Bass_Thrower,

Head over to your local locksmith,
he should be able to help you out.

Cheers.
