I recently purchased the kit of 3 noiseless pickups with the 3 pots. IN the installation instructions that came with the kit it says that all of the 3 pots are 1 meg. Actually one pot is 1 meg and the other two are 500k. Can someone help me and tell me which pots go where!
Thanks

Welcome!

Fender has switched around the pot values of the Vintage Noiseless a few times.

Actually, your best bet is to use the original 250K pots in your Strat and IMHO, you are far better off using them rather than the 500K/1000K combo you got with the VN pickups.

But if you must use the ones which came with the VNs, use one 500K as your volume pot and the other 500K for the the middle and/or bridge pickup(s) tone pot and use the 1000K (megohm) for the neck and/or middle pickup(s) tone pot (depending on which pickups you choose to assign a tone control to).

It should be noted that a 1000K pot isn't really appropriate at all for these pickups as the VNs are no where near powerful enough to benefit from the incredibly high resistance of this pot. As a matter of fact, if you do choose to use this meg pot, you'll notice it hardly does anything and on top of that, there may be, 'bald spots' in the rotation of the pot where you'll hear absolutely no difference. The same holds true to a lesser extent with the 500K pots. Even these have too much resistance for the resonant peak of the VNs. Or, to put it another way, using the 500K/1000K combo, chances are you will find the VNs sterile and lifeless. YMMV.
